Kate’s Sneak Peek | Mountain Home Boise Children’s Photographer

I photographed this little girl and her family this week and fell in love with her smile! This was at the end when we just let her have a little fun! Isn’t she gorgeous??!!

Gayle is one of those people that make you grateful to be in the military. Moving around is hard, but then you meet awesome people that you know you NEVER would have crossed paths with otherwise. I love this family and I love her boys! Her husband is a fighter pilot and had to suddenly leave on a deployment months back. Since he would miss his birthday with his family, she wanted to do something special to show him how important he is. We talked about some ideas and I showed her mini accordion albums. They’re small (3 inches by 3 inches) and have a magnetic closure, but when you open them up, you have a panorama and can fit lots of pictures inside! My husband loved having one with him when he was deployed and grandparents also love them because they can throw it in their purse and show it off. So then Gayle rolled with that idea! I was so impressed at the ideas she had! They have lots of funny sayings that might make no sense to us, but make perfect sense to their family! So she made signs, brought her hubby’s flight gear, and even brought their dog! I loved the end result. Instead of showing all the pics, I’ll show a few but I’d rather show some of the end product. We were able to sit down and plan out some collages, the accordion albums, and lots more. You’ll see her 10×20 collage-I put it on an easel to display because I have it mounted on matboard, but it will also be beautiful if she frames it. I think it’s such a fitting tribute to a hero! Enjoy!
