Favorite Things Friday

I’ve been BUSY as I near our last weeks stationed here at Mountain Home Air Force Base. Having back to back shoots the past few weeks has be a little backlogged on blogging those sessions, but I’ll have peeks soon! I did want to do my Favorite Things Friday post though because I LOVE this object I recently got! My friend had a Pampered Chef party and my husband loves all the kitchen tools there as much as I do. So we decided to try out the pineapple corer and slicer since we love fresh pineapple. It was amazing! You don’t have to cut the peel off-it cuts it off, cores it, and slices the rings in half all at one time. I love things that make my life easier and this one does for sure!

What to Wear Wednesday

It’s nearing the end of the school year and a lot of seniors are getting pictures done before they head into a new stage of life. I have a senior session coming up this weekend so thought it would be fun to share some senior clothing boards. You’ll notice that as always, layering and texture add visual interest to a photo. I always encourage my seniors to bring items that reflect their personalities-instruments, sporting equipment, etc!

Favorite Things Friday

This product is adorable-I’ve had it pinned for a while on my Pinterest board and when checking out the company again, I saw that it is even 25% off this month! If I knew where we’d be living in a few months, I’d order one for sure, but I’ll just have to wait until we are settled into our next base. This is an adorable way to make your mail a little cuter. I know that everyone loves getting handwritten mail and this is an incentive to take the time to hand write a note to someone soon.;)The site can be found at https://www.etsy.com/shop/SincerelyYoursPaper?ref=seller_info.

Matthew-One Year Old!

I love being able to photograph babies from the time they are born and be able to see them grow and change! I met Matthew’s parents through photographing some homecomings with dad’s squadron and was so excited to hear that they were expecting! Last January, we did some maternity photos and then his newborns the next month!

And now Matthew is one year old! I love how he is so active and loves your typical boy stuff-balls, sports, running, playing. As the Air Force will take us both in different directions, I’m so glad I’ll be able to keep in contact with mom and see him continue to grow!

Emma

February was a busy month for baby girls around here! I couldn’t wait to meet baby Emma and she was just as pretty as I knew she would be. She was a calm, well-behaved baby girl and we really had fun with her session and using girly, soft colors in our sets! I also loved incorporating dad and his ABUs into the portraits. It’s going to be such a touching photo of sweet Emma to have as she gets older!

Kelly Doster - These pics are amazing!
